Zenner respects intellectual property rights and provides a process for copyright holders to submit DMCA takedown notices and counter-notifications.

Overview

Zenner respects the intellectual property rights of others and intends to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. 512, where applicable.

This policy applies to copyright claims about content hosted, displayed, linked, sold, or otherwise made available through Zenner.

Submit a Takedown Notice

Copyright owners or authorized agents should submit takedown notices through the Zenner DMCA form..

Submit DMCA Notice

The form is designed to collect the information needed to review a DMCA notice. You should include the information listed below.

  1. 1A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. 2Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. 3Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information for us to locate it, such as a URL, product name, page, screenshot, or file description.
  4. 4Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  6. 6A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Additional Information We May Request

  • The capacity in which you are filing, such as owner, agent, or attorney.
  • A publicly accessible location of the original work or evidence of ownership.
  • The specific elements claimed to be infringing, such as code, text, imagery, audio, video, or branding.
  • A side-by-side explanation of the portions claimed to be copied.
  • A statement addressing fair use or other lawful use where relevant.

Response to Valid Notices

Upon receipt of a complete and valid notice, Zenner may remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the affected user or developer where appropriate, and take other reasonable action.

Notices that are incomplete, inaccurate, abusive, or missing required information may not receive a response.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification through Zenner support.

  2. 2Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. 3Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. 4A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  5. 5A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction required by 17 U.S.C. 512(g) and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

Repeat Infringers

Zenner may terminate or restrict accounts, products, developers, users, or submissions that repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights.

Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees.

Zenner reserves the right to log notices, timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and related evidence, and to respond to fraudulent or abusive claims.
